Our French computer programme arrived today and it was so much fun to get started.

Joan of Arc

It was great to watch the movie "Joan of Arc" and see what it could have been like living in her time. Mum had watched it before me, so she just fast forwarded through all the fighting so I did not have to watch any of that.

The Seine River

I think it would be so nice to go on a riverboat and see all the famous buildings.

There are many old castles and palaces in France.

The Louvre was once a royal palace. It is now a famous art gallery where the Mona Lisa is kept.

People who visit French cities or seaside towns usually stay in hotels or apartments.

In the countryside, your bed could be in a cottage or a castle.
