No Mountain too High

A story about Gladys Aylward
by Myrna Grant

Gladys had often wanted to go to China. One day she packed up her things and went to China to be a missionary. She told people about God. A Mandarin asked her to go around and make sure that the girl’s feet were not bound up. While she was going around she also told stories about Jesus. But there was a war going on and bombs fell on the town she was living in so she had to live in the mountains with all the children she was looking after. Then one day the war got so bad that she took a lot of children and went across the Yellow River to find safety. There were no boats going across the Yellow River but finally she managed to persuade a captain to take a boat with all the children across the river.
